Yes ...finally I have some Purses in stock!! I will be posting them one at a time but all will be under the IN STOCK label. I really would love feed back as they come out. I will only have one of each so if you love one pick it up quickly! They are $25.00 each and I will ship anywhere...shipping will be extra.
So I have picked up the hexagons again and have made huge progress!! I have 2 full rows of 42 across! And 1/2 of the 3rd done! It doesn't sound like a lot but it is a start...the lines are pretty easy to do but attaching the rows is a bit hard on my hands... I am holding on tightly ... to tight but I can't stop! Here are a few pics!
I think this is my fave..I love the peacock! I wish the color was a bit better..but the glass wasn't co operating with me! So I have them all hung in my living room and I love the way they look as a group! I have done a few for the girls ...not framed yet but they are beautiful! Thanks for looking.
This was the 2nd one I did ..I thought that I would give one each to the girls but Mike had these two framed for me for a Christmas present as well as the 3rd one for me to start on....have a great day!
I was fabric shopping for purses the other day and found this....OMG I didn't buy it but had to take a pick so I could love it all the time! I am not sure why but this just calls to me!!! And it is not calling me bad names just sending its love over my way!! I hope you enjoy it too!
I know it is a corny saying...but I just feel like I would take these bags to the beach with me! sorry that one of them is a bit blurry I will retake it asap.... Who's going to go to the beach with these!!
That is the name of this fabric....Ash has a purse made of this and she loves it so I thought I would spread the love!... I have just these 2 in this collection....enjoy! and yes of course they will have buttons...you know how I am...I like to show them off and then finish them!!
I have been told to make this bag! My aunt said she saw some like this where she lives ( USA ) well kinda like this! Anyway TA DA!!! So my mom had this great fabric and here we go! I hope you like it...I have to get a great button for it but I was excited to show it off!
So my girls are finished their recital for dance and now I have to get back to work! Here is the first of 2 in my Paradise collection. I have to say these are my colors...I think I will be making one for me as well! Thanks for looking!
My Hailey was asked to be the Hailey in Hailey's Dream (the dance) Of course because she is dreaming she has to wear jammies...
Now the Ballet teacher did say for her to wear any jammies that she has at home.....
So we all know that I can't let my baby girl go out on stage in a tank and sweats...((( they don't wear nighties anymore))))
The recital is on Sat so I thought I would have a couple more days to get it started and yes finished HOWEVER Hailey told me last night that the Ballet teacher wants to see it today! Oh ya....so a but of cutting and some quick sewing and a bit oh a late night....here we go...
So there are 7 dancers this year in the company... 6 girls and I boy..I made purses for the girls...all a bit different and a lanyard for the boy...here is one of the purses...I will get pics of all the rest as soon as I can...Thanks for looking!
Oh yah.... I think this is my fave from this collection...I am thinking the dots make the bag! The inside of this purse is Yellow! Totally H.O.T stuff! Thanks for looking! I am excited to show you the project I am working on for a few of the dance ( my daughters dance group ) girls!! It is going to be great!!
I couldn't wait to show this one off! I don't even have the button on it yet!! The inside is the same fabric as the handles. Who doesn't love spots and flowers all on one purse! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
Yes... I loved this fabric so much you know I had to make two purses with it. This one has a patterned inside (same pattern as the top of yesterdays post)! I think it might be a bit more grown up!! And yet still so sassy! So sassy that this purse has been SNATCHED!! Tess is the sassy girl who got this one!! Enjoy.
I know it is hard to top Pink and Brown ...I think this comes so close!!! I love this combo! Oh ya and do you see the totally cute patterns? Yep this was fun to make...I will be sad to see it go! The inside of this cute bag is a solid chocolate brown...Yummy! THIS PURSE HAS BEEN SNATCHED....Hope you love it Sarah!
This bag has a sparkle through out the fabric...It doesn't really show up on the pick...The inside of this bag is chocolate brown....Totally yummy! SORRY....THIS HAS BEEN PURSE SNATCHED!! Thanks Christine
I know the title doesn't make to much sense but I needed something catchy...Hailey's purse is done!! How cute is this!!! I love it ... I am so glad we can all share! What do you think?? Beautiful right!
Here we go! this is Ashleigh's new purse! I might have to " borrow " it! I think it turned out super fantastic!! The Brown fabric is Michael Miller ...Splashy Rose. The Butterfly fabric is called Happy Butterfly (of course). The green is from Andover fabrics...I didn't get the name. What do you think? All of these purses are reversible Ash has decided the Splashy Rose will be her outside... for now!
Ok so of course I went to the Japanese Fabrics...I tend to go there first and look every time! However...I remembered I would be making a purse out of it sooooo...Believe it or not I picked fabrics that were in both of the girls collections! I guess we are cut from the same cloth!!! I know that was totally silly but I did have a great idea when I did it ...Now we can mix and match our choices and now 3 purses can be 6 purses...just by using the bits of leftovers!! Oh ya I am that good!!! Here are my choices!!! Thanks for looking!
So when I made the purses for the girls for easter.I had these 3 fabrics in my hand for Hailey's purse...I swear ...I put it down and went for the brighter thinking that maybe I would love those more than she would....It made my day when we walked in and she found these and new they would be for her!!! She didn't even look anywhere else! I guess I do know my girl... Sweet, soft and beautiful just like these fabrics she picked out!
I have to show off the new fabrics my girls and I got the other day...We went to a new quilting store and the first day I went in I didn't bring in my purse...I know I need help...The next day we went in with $$$ and they didn't know what hit them!! Ashleigh and Hailey have very strong opinions and they are girls that know what they like... I have no idea where they get that from!!! We are going to make them purses and I am making one for me too!!! Here are Ashleigh's fabric choices.....I know you want one ....cause these make me drool!!!
We are a bit late on getting this to the friend for her birthday but ....well things happen....so here we go...I love this one! I am making a bunch so if you are interested in some let me know...I think they will make great gifts for friend or even as a goodie bag ...no need to fill them! I just know that she will enjoy this....I didn't get the fabric names for this yet but I will add them in if I can remember where I put them!
I will post the rest tomorrow ....but.... I wanted to show you a bit of it...Don't get crazy it is not something totally new but it is really cute and it is for a girlfriend of Hailey's..... The party is tomorrow ... I will post the whole thing then! It was Hailey's pick on the fabrics again..I didn't get the names ...sorry. Thanks for looking...
As you can see I did the same blocks for both of the girls quilts. I think the different color combos make it look fairly different though. I did a double border for Hailey's and this quilt has a green back and Ashleigh's has an off white one. I have 2 faves for this quilt. I love, love, love the flowers I think they are so fun! I also used all of the fabrics for the binding so it gives it a bit of a patch work effect....Of course neither one of them use the quilts because 6 months after I finished them the girls got queen size beds and off to the cupboard they went! Sad Sad Sad.....
Ashleigh's quilt. I made this quilt for Ash a couple of years ago. I needed to be inspired to quilt again after taking a few years off so I took a class. I had taken this class before with Kathy and Michelle about 5 years ago and every one made a 6 set sampler.... I thought I needed to make more so I made a queen size quilt ( 25 squares) in the same time as all the others made the 6 squares. Yes I do always have to do things like that...I think I do it to test myself.... I should get some counseling for that!!! Anyway.... I asked if I could redo the same class ( I guess that is not something that gets done regularly) and told her I wasn't going to make a queen size quilt ...I was going to make two twin size quilts??!!! Yep she giggled and told me I wasn't allowed to fall behind the rest of the group. I didn't....again with the counseling....and here we go..Ash's quilt....I have a fave part of all my quilts...on this one it is the pipping beside the binding. I think that makes it look really " finished".
I made these pillows for Ashleigh's room....The fabric with the cherries was our inspiration for her room I wanted to make it bright and a bit more grown up....I think it works! I pleated the ruffle and used clear buttons to tuft it!
