Trying to relearn the cabbage rose

Here is what I used for my Roses... I love the Green one for sure but there is nothing like a pretty Pink Cabbage Rose

Inspired to Paint!!

I decided that I need to get a hobby! I know by looking at this blog it looks like I have a lot! I do ... I have so many things that I love to do but I just haven't been inspired to do anything... So after weeks of trips to the crafts stores..... and a few 100 sites googled...I am back to painting! I can't wait to share with you!

Hailey made this a few months ago for Naomi.... she loved this so much... so proud of my little girl... she is so loving!!

I made these for my Mother in law... it was a few years back and I never took a picture of it after I made it... since she has passed we have these with us again and I thought I should post.... I know she loved them as much as I loved making them for her... I found the pattern on the internet I am going to make more of them.... 

we framed one the rest were made into the quilt... 

Kathy's quilt

so Kathy... my mom... did the front of this quilt a few years ago... Ashleigh and I just finished the quilting and the binding yesterday... It looks beautiful on her couch right?? 

I got them framed!!

It has been years for making and holding on to these .... finally I got them framed! They were a gift for the girls for Easter... yes they got chocolate as well....of course they knew about them but they actually look like something when they are framed! Thanks for looking...
